The Nuisance of Security

Security is important for transit, but annoying for storage. Once you've downloaded your encrypted bank statement to your secure home computer, you probably don't want to type your long banking password every time you need to check a transaction.

Unlocking vs. Cracking

It is important to clarify: PDFSense is not a hacking tool. We cannot open a file if you don't know the password.

Our "Unlock" tool is a convenience utility. You provide the correct password once, and we use it to strip the encryption layer from the file. We then return a standard, unencrypted PDF that you can save, search, and open instantly.

Is it Safe?

Yes. The decryption happens on our secure server processing memory and is deleted instantly. We never store your password or your unencrypted file. You are simply trading the "locked" version for an "open" version for your own personal filing system.
