Navigation Matters

Page numbers provide a universal reference point. "Turn to page 12" gets everyone on the same spot instantly. For legal documents, contracts, and academic theses, pagination isn't just nice to have—it's mandatory.
Customizing Your Numbering
Our "Page Numbers" tool isn't just a stamper; it's a layout engine. You have full control:
- Position: Top-right corner? Bottom-center? You decide where the number sits so it doesn't cover important text.
- Range: Skip the cover page! You can tell the tool to start numbering from physical page 2, but display the number "1".
- Format: Use standard "1, 2, 3" or file-specific formats like "Page 1 of 50".
Bates Numbering
For legal discovery, you can add prefixes (e.g., "CASE_A_001"). While our basic tool covers standard numbering, this attention to sequential labeling is critical for maintaining the integrity of document bundles.
